Fence estimates in Boise are easier to compare when they describe the same work. Before comparing totals, check whether each contractor measured the same line and included the same gates.
Match the material and layout
Ask for the fence style, height and material specifications in writing. Note how the fence will handle changes in grade. A photograph of a similar fence does not define the products or installation details in the estimate.
Check removal and site work
Find out whether the price includes removing the existing fence and taking away the debris. Discuss trees, access restrictions and any ground conditions that may change the scope. Confirm who is responsible for boundaries and applicable approvals.
List every gate
